Genesis10 is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist role. This is a 4+ month contract position located in Racine, WI. Compensation: $27.00 - 29.00 per hour, depending on skill and experience level. Responsibilities: Controls and schedules the flow of goods, information, and resources. Procurement of material and warehousing, and distribution of raw materials, goods-in process, and inventory management. Controls the commercial impact of the complete range of activities, including receiving, locating, and dispatching, sourcing, purchasing, and optimizing inventory levels. Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from the conceptual stage through the life cycle of the product. Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of subcontractors, suppliers, production departments, and field service personnel, and resolves problems in the area of logistics to ensure meeting of commitments. Solves complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions. Appropriately delivers messages and adapts style to differing audiences. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience may direct the work of other staff members. Devises solutions based on multiple sources of information and uses experience, evaluation, and interpretation to adapt existing approaches. Demonstrates knowledge of principles and practices within a professional or technical discipline. Accountable for meeting targets, which will impact discipline. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline 6+ years of relevant experience.
