Administrative Assistant - Membership Support - Immediate Hiring Location: Onsite; Yuma, Arizona Hourly Rate: $18.00 The Rural Metro Fire Administrative Assistant - Membership Support provides front desk support and customer service to telephone and walk in clients. This position also assists with office events. The Administrative Assistant - Membership Support will also support the Membership Field Sales Team with additional administrative and support tasks. Responsibilities: * The Administrative Assistant - Membership Support will provide professional customer service to members, their agents, insurance companies and any other individual who may contact the business office. * Interact with other staff members to resolve problems and must ensure that all communication is positive and productive. * The Administrative Assistant - Membership Support will schedule priorities to meet deadlines as determined by management. * Open/Close the office for public traffic. * Adherence to and compliance with company policies and procedures involving confidentiality and information systems security. * Occasionally opportunities for cross training will be available, it's expected that the CSR team will help when needed. * The Administrative Assistant - Membership Support will provide event management support such as booking events, providing set up, and representing RMF at community events. * Weekends or after-hours assignments may occur. * This position may require local travel. A personal vehicle can be used when a company vehicle is not available. * Perform other duties as assigned. Skills: * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. * Knowledge of Medical terminology preferred, but not required. * Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills required. * Bilingual is a plus.
