Genesis10 is currently seeking an EDI Analyst / EDI Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Richmond, VA, Chicago, IL and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Facilitate efficient data exchange between clients and the client Manage the flow of electronic documents (like invoices, payments, etc.) to and from clients, using EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and various communication protocols (like AS2, SFTP) Support client integration Assist clients with integrating their systems with the clients CashPro platform, including setting up and troubleshooting data mapping and translation Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues Investigate data mapping discrepancies, transmission failures, and other integration challenges Monitor Daily EDI transaction processing Troubleshoot and resolve any EDI processing issues Implementation Team Resource for EDI Mapping, Validation and Testing as required Prepare and update program documentation, job aides, and other artifacts as requested Scheduled and ad hoc auditing of various systems and databases to support prior authorization transactions Process review, data analysis and measurement for various programs related to prior authorizations, claims and member eligibility Create process and data flow diagrams for the various programs/projects as assigned Preparation of reports as needed by management Identification and communication of processing issues to management Prepare and coordinate presentations, trainings, etc.; used as an educational resource Implementation of new technologies and processes (includes testing and follow-up) Assignment of special projects as needed Requirements: 5+ years of experience with data mapping and workflow documentation 5+ years of experience in each of the following: EDI transaction mapping, production support, maintenance, testing, and validation 5+ years of experience with SQL (manipulating data and queries) / Relational databases like MySQL, MS SQL, DB2, PostGres Experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, match, etc.), and Microsoft Visio (process/data flow diagrams) Must be able to interface with clients, managed care customers, IT resources and others when needed Pay range: $42.06 - $50.06 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
