GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing the project from drafting and engineering, into production, through erection and job close out. Other benefits include Health and Family Care leave for both union and non-union employees. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pre-design through completion of large, high profile, complex precast structures
- Lead Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers as needed
- Collaborate with design teams such as architects, engineers, contractors and owners in project development and construction
- Evaluate construction documents and identify constraints and constructability concerns to the design team.
- Construction knowledge and comprehension of all trades required on a project and their effect on precast components.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the precast industry and all company products, applications, and capabilities.
- Assist in review of contracts through execution.
- Preparation and/or review of subcontracts and change orders.
- Risk identification, management, and resolution with internal and external team stakeholders.
- Manage changes to the project scope and costs.
- Development of project schedules in alignment with contracted deliverables. Communicate deliverables to all departments.
- Weekly evaluation of cost reports, aging, and billing forecasts. Develop action plans if necessary.
- Generate billings or pay applications to be submitted to the general contractor. Champion accounts receivable for payment
- Assist in procurement of production and erection materials.
- Collaborate with erection superintendents to develop and maintain daily operations and execution of the erection plan.
- Analyze Piece Tracking reports, Production Schedules, and Delta Reports to ensure contracted schedule dates are adhered to.
- Participate weekly in onsite sub-contractor meetings. Also participate in monthly safety and quality audit of field erection and grouting crews.
- Attend sales meetings, conventions and award functions as needed.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, or related degree preferred.
- 8+ years of Project Management experience and related precast experience required.
- Must have interpersonal communication skills to interact with co-workers, customers, and contractors.
- Ability to train and coach other employees if necessary.
- Must be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Must be able to lead a team with respect and dignity.
- OSHA 30 training certification (will be provided)
- Must be motivated and self-driven to complete a task.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel with some overnights
- Possession of a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.

- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for typing, filing, and using office equipment.

- Intermittent field / jobsite visits will require safety precautions, which may coincide with exposure to harsh weather.
