Job Description Maintenance Tech I Holyoke Requisition ID: 52215 If you are a current employee click here to apply. Position Summary This position is responsible for providing maintenance support. Schedule: 2nd shift Pay rate: $26.00/hr Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance to meet safety, housekeeping, quality, cost andproduction requirements with minimal supervision. Perform trouble shooting and calibration. Perform overhauls and preventative maintenance inspections on machinery and equipment. Install new equipment and make modifications to existing equipment. Rebuild equipment components. Perform standar d maintenance tasks to maintain facilities and grounds. Accept personal responsibility for condition of assigned equipment. Prepare written and verbal reports/recommendations. Assist other maintenance team members as required in support of plant goals Education High School Diploma or GED required Two-year technical degree preferred Requirements Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Industrial Electronics or related field Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems. Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers Strong electrical background Millwork, machine work, and welding experience preferred Teamwork and interpersonal skills Safety conscious mindset Use of MS Office Experience using a computer (SAP, MS Office, Lotus Notes experience desired) Ability to drive a forklift Basic understanding of Continuous Improvement is preferred.
