Account Executive, Third Party Digital Sales

As a FedEx sales and business development professional focusing on monetizing our FedEx Digital Solutions and bringing them to our Third Parties, you will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and converting mid-market/enterprise contracts, working alongside our core enterprise sales team and First Party Digital Sales teams. Your role involves developing and executing sales strategies to generate pipeline, close opportunities, and drive both new business and expansion. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining positive business relationships with our Third Party partners to achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's growth.

Essential Functions

  • Sales Strategy Execution:
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to generate pipeline and close opportunities against an assigned quota.
    • Identify and qualify leads that fit our ideal customer and partner profiles to market the company's products and services.
    • Adapt to high growth, fast-growing, and changing environments quickly.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships in the territory to drive both new business and expansion.
    • Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives.
    • Confidently negotiate and present FedEx value propositions to existing and new customers.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Coordinate internal FedEx resources to meet customer business needs.
    • Perform account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with core enterprise sales resources to ensure strategic alignment.
    • Work collaboratively with 3P Product teams on required features and technical needs.
    • Share client feedback and market insights with cross-functional teams to influence product development and strategy.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business administration, logistics, technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum Experience

1-3 years of sales, partnerships, or data analysis experience driving the development of net new or existing customers or partnerships.

Experience in supporting complex enterprise software solutions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Strong entrepreneurial, technical, and business acumen.

Ability to adapt quickly in high-growth, fast-paced environments.

Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the transportation and logistics technology space

Experience selling enterprise solutions to customers in the transportation and logistics technology space

Preferred Qualifications: *Experience in the shipping, transportation and logistics technology space. Experience selling enterprise solutions to customers in the transportation and logistics technology space. Familiarity with the third party ecosystem and landscape. Background in shipping technology partnerships, strategy, or analytics - Experience with complex negotiations

Pay: U.S. Pay Range $8,007.29 /month - $18,149.85 /month

Additional Details: This position may be located anywhere within the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii and US territories. Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week
