Salary Range: $113,000-$130,000, based on experience

Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Security Systems Designer to join our team. Under general supervision, you will develop and refine security system designs based on drawings, sketches, layouts, and verbal instructions. You will evaluate and synthesize information to deliver optimal, code-compliant, and cost-effective solutions.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead small to medium-sized security design projects and mentor junior designers.
  • Develop moderately complex security system designs aligned with company BIM/CAD standards.
  • Prepare construction cost estimates, material take-offs, and specifications.
  • Review submittals, produce punch lists, and provide construction clarifications.
  • Draft proposals and contribute to business development efforts.
  • Travel for fieldwork and attend professional meetings as needed.


Required Skills & Competencies



  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Microsoft Office, Newforma, and engineering software.
  • Client Focus: Proactively address client needs and ensure satisfaction.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively and contribute valuable insights.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Adaptability: Embrace change and adjust to evolving project demands.
