Institutionalize a culture of quality first in product development with a focus on issue prevention and detection. Ensure robust development and validation processes for all regions while leveraging and improving global knowledge.
Responsibilities:



  • Complete lessons learned for warranty, yard holds, and high-severity development issues


  • Define and validate corrective actions


  • Apply lessons learned in global requirements and validate in regional processes


  • Collaborate with functional teams to integrate lessons learned into upcoming projects



Development Process and Tools:



  • Ensure robust and repeatable application of best practice development processes and tools


  • Define and implement corrective actions for identified gaps and opportunities


  • Partner with engineering functional teams to implement corrective actions and best practices


  • Analyze development KPIs, previous issues, and customer feedback to identify systemic design issues and opportunities


  • Implement a proactive training plan using existing modules and peer mentorship



Main Interfaces:


  • Quality Teams: Global engineering quality, process, tools, reliability, safety/compliance, total cost of quality, serial life quality, and vehicle assessment quality, Supplier Quality
  • PDT & others: Functional quality teams, manufacturing, parts & service, etc.


Main Animations:


  • Collaborate primarily with functional quality and engineering teams
  • Engage cross-functionally with purchasing, parts & service, Supplier Quality, etc.
  • Manage data sharing and training needs with global engineering quality teams


Potential Areas of Focus:


  • On-time functionality (hardware, wiring& harness, battery)
  • Robust APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA
  • Robust validation (hardware, wiring& harness, battery)
  • Ensuring suppliers follow robust development processes
  • Alignment of development processes among engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing


Proactive Quality Goals:


  • Institutionalize a culture of quality and issue prevention
  • Partner with global meta functions to develop proactive quality plans
  • Ensure robust analysis and validation of development and serial life issues
  • Provide cross-functional feedback and resolve process gaps
  • Develop and improve key proactive KPIs

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5 + years in the business of which 3 + years of experience in Quality management or Engineering
  • Fluent in English
  • Leadership in guiding cross-functional work groups.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Delivery-oriented mindset.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in a scientific field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Physics,).
