TITLE: Customer Plant Leader

DUTIES: Act as the Voice of the Customer using warranty information, parts return information and service information to identify actionable issues. Work directly with the Manufacturing Plants Process Engineering Team and the Advocate/Triage Engineers, the CPL will be responsible for identifying emerging issues quickly and developing a well-rounded and detailed problem statement to minimize the time required to triage and resolve customer concerns. Feed the Short Loop and morning market meetings with new claims information. Investigate warranty issues and assign to party responsible through GIMs (Global Issue Management). Work with plants to investigate processes that can be associated with warranty. Expedite part analysis for results on high priority investigations as a result of Short Loop. Communicate warranty and plant quality issues between Control Tower and plant vehicle engineering. Ensure vehicle warranty is accurately documented, including broken clean points, and differentiating old vs new issues. Ensure warranty claim coverage and portfolio for assigned product lines/plants. Involve in new launches FEW (Field Early Warning) focus. Locate physically inside assembly plant.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Mechatronics or related field of study and 5 years of experience in job offered or related experience in Supplier Operations. Experience must include: Experience in Vehicle Manufacturing processes of all areas - Supplier Chain, Stamping, BIW, Paint, General Assembly, Logistics, Quality Control; Experience in Advanced data analytics including: Excel advanced functions and pivot tables, Power Bi and other data visualization tools, Programming languages such as SQL, Python, Database data mining (Palantir Foundry); Using Statistical analysis methods (regression, hypothesis testing); Quality management tools (SPC, Pareto analysis, Shainin Red X, Six Sigma, Lean); Experience with Manufacturing planning systems; Working with Advanced Quality problem solving tools (i.e. 4M1D/DOE/5W1H) and Minitab (Cp/Cpk & Adv. Tools); Working with PFMEA assessments; and Developing and analyzing Automotive Warranty and J.D Power 3rd party customer surveys.

OTHER: Job Site: 800 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. 40 hours/week. If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S.
