To achieve this goal, the Compute Silicon & Manufacturing Engineering team is instrumental in defining and delivering operational measures of success for hardware manufacturing, improving the planning process, quality, delivery, scale and sustainability related to Microsoft cloud hardware. We are looking for engineers with a dedicated passion for customer focused solutions, insight and industry knowledge to envision and implement future technical solutions that will manage and optimize the Cloud infrastructure. We are looking for a Senior Silicon Firmware Engineer to join our silicon libraries firmware team covering firmware architecture, development, integration, and quality assurance, for our silicon projects. ResponsibilitiesDevelop, document, review, and maintain low-level silicon firmware code focusing on mesh interconnects, in partnership with architecture, design, design verification, and software teams.Work in pre-silicon environments and enable design verification workloads and collateralAnalyze, architect, and develop firmware based on silicon specifications.Cross multiple firmware disciplines and domains during the development cycle.Perform firmware integration and releases to partners and stakeholders.Automate tasks and enable validating partners with maximum code and collateral sharing.Participate and role-model an Agile development and execution culture emphasizing quality, team accountability, continuous integration, improvement and deployment.Coordinate priorities and activities with engineering stakeholders to deliver committed milestones.Collaborate with highly energetic cross functional team members with respect and with One Microsoft mentality to establish synergies. Collaborate with IP providers where necessary. Delight your customers who receive your deliverable by providing high quality functional firmware on schedule and with professional integrity.
