Business Operations Manager - IGEN

POSITION SUMMARYThe Business Operations Manager at IGEN acts as the orchestrator of day-to-day business activities, ensuring that all departments collaborate effectively to drive growth and client satisfaction. This requires a proactive approach to tackling process improvements and ensuring they are optimized, effective and documented as well as identifying, implementing and maintaining the right level of automation and workflows to minimize process times and increase effectiveness across the organization. This includes revenue operations, aligning operational initiatives with the company's revenue goals.

The Business Operations Manager is also the IGEN data steward, working with operational, prospect and client data to build, maintain and promote a high level of visibility and accuracy to operational telemetry reporting and supporting growth with sustainable, highly efficient business processes that improve scalability. This role brings the first-hand client experience perspective into IGEN operations, working closely with Client Success and Product functions to collect, summarize and turn client data into actionable insights.

This position will be located at our Appleton, WI office. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational System Administration

  • Administration of IGEN's CRM and workflow management systems to ensure efficient use of automation and alignment with operational procedures.
  • Assessment and adoption of integrations and new technologies, as necessary

Operational Telemetry

  • Maintain, update and drive evolution of the IGEN Scoreboard. The Scoreboard is the central point for monitoring KPIs and leading indicators of performance to goals and growth
  • Build and maintain robust sales and operational reporting that optimizes visibility to critical data points and metrics
  • Monitors and analyzes trends, driving awareness, action, and discussion of available metrics
  • Develops, implements, and maintains effective knowledge sharing processes and tools across functions

Process and Workflow Optimization

  • Management and refinement of workflows used within and across all functions of the business
  • Collaborates with the functional areas to analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements
  • Leads process and system change initiatives
  • Determines the value of a change and the cost vs. benefit of improvement initiatives. Reviews metrics after implementation to validate effectiveness
  • Internal Training
  • Develops documentation to support processes and improvements that will facilitate business user needs, including procedure documents, requirements, process maps and diagrams, etc.

  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4-year Business Degree, or equivalent working experience
  • 4+ years of relevant operations experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: writing, editing, and presenting
  • Outcome oriented.
  • Ability to lead through influence
  • Technical proficiency in business tech-stack, including a working knowledge of SQL and APIs
  • Experience managing the people side of change
  • Process improvement background
  • A high level of personal accountability and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to find creative solutions to complex business problems and accomplish goals
  • Drive and flexibility to go the extra mile in service of our teams and clients
  • Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly
  • Advanced data analysis and SQL skills preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of system integrations and reporting tools preferred
  • Willingness to Travel as necessary
