Description Location: NAS Patuxent River, MD Security Clearance Requirement: Secret Telework Eligible? No We have an opportunity for a highly skilled, former P-8A or EP-3 Naval Flight Officer (NFO) to provide subject matter expertise in support of NAVAIR's Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft Program Office, PMA-290. This position will be based at NAS Patuxent River, MD. As an NFO supporting the Increment 3 (Inc3) program, you will:
- Advise PMA-290 leadership on the integration and testing of Inc3 combat systems-including mission systems, sensors, environmental systems, and mission planning tools.
- Apply expert knowledge of current Inc3 capabilities, including Minotaur mission software.
- Operate P-8A Inc3 systems in lab environments to support system integration and testing goals.
- Analyze and report on combat system performance, providing written and verbal briefings as needed.
- Recommend improvements to enhance P-8A Inc3 performance across key mission areas: ASW, ASuW, Carrier Strike Group (CSG) support, and ISR.
- Support the development and delivery of training materials, potentially including instruction for Integrated Test Teams (ITT).

- Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of operational experience as a P-8A or EP-3 NFO, required.
- Strong understanding of maritime patrol mission systems, including recent software and hardware updates.
- Ability to analyze complex systems, solve problems, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Experience with engineering software tools and/or systems integration testing preferred.
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes is a plus.
- Position will require occasional travel.

Salary Range:
- The estimated salary range for this position will be $120,000 - $145,000 annually, based on an individual's level of experience and skill set. It is our goal at ASEC to provide equitable compensation to all employees.
