GENERAL SUMMARY
The Value Management Analyst - Fortify is responsible for analyzing value-based contracts to identify opportunities for improving cost efficiency and quality performance. This role requires strong actuarial skills to identify cost efficiency opportunities combined with expertise in process improvement methodologies to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize value-based care outcomes. Co-founded by Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters and the University of Virginia Children's Hospital, Fortify Children's Health is Virginia's first pediatric clinically integrated network (CIN). The mission of Fortify is to ensure the optimal health and well-being for every child. Reports to the Sr. Director, Strategic Finance, Contracting & Treasury. The ideal candidate will have: *Experience working in a health system, large multi-specialty group practice, or similar health care setting preferred. *Licensed actuary preferred (Associate of the Society of Actuaries). *Strong analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills. *Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. *Excellent time skills with the ability to plan, set and shift priorities in a fast paced, fluid, and complex health care environment. *Demonstrated ability to manage multiple major assignments simultaneously to completion. *Possesses strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills as well as, the ability to interact with and build collegial relationships with diverse individuals. *Demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaboratively with providers and staff, and interact with multiple levels of internal and external leaders while being able to work independently as necessary. *Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other applicable software. *Ability to travel regionally.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience: 1 year relevant experience Licensure: None required PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull < 20lbs.
