If you answer yes to these questions, Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Customer Service Representative within our life Insurance Division!



About the role


You will be responsible for providing inbound/outbound telephone support to our customers and agents. Assists with requests both written and verbal.



What you'll do in this role





  • Answer incoming phone calls from agents and customers, assisting with a variety of inquiries, including status on pending new business applications and pending in-force transactions, assisting with specific in-force policy questions, product information, information on rates, and service issue resolution.


  • Requires a working knowledge of processes and procedures for New Business, Claims, and In-force Back Office, navigating multiple administrative systems.


  • Required to document detailed and concise notes on all interactions

Compensation


Hourly Salary Range: $22.00- $29.28 plus eligibility for annual bonus program











Who you are



  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, as shown through prior customer service experience.
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Able to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to retain information.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base on a variety of needs.
  • Ability to work under pressure, quickly assess customer needs and problem solve on the fly.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience required
