Communications Specialist

The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the position of Communications Specialist in the Public Works division of the Community Development & Services Agency. Under direction, the incumbent will perform a wide variety of activities in support of the County’s or Public Works department’s social media relations and promotional efforts, including writing and editing material for publication and event conceptualization and development; plan, develop, implement a variety of social media campaigns; disseminate information to the community and news media; support staff regarding media and public requests for information; learn and apply emerging technologies in the media and communications field; perform related work as assigned.

The Public Works Department is seeking a skilled and dynamic Communications Specialist to help promote and highlight the essential projects that keep our county running—roads, water systems, infrastructure improvements, and more.

Job Description
