Job Description
ECU Department of ITCS Client Engagement and Support - Pirate Techs Technology Support Center is currently seeking a Student Technician.

The student technician is responsible for assisting ECU students, faculty, and staff with walk-in technology and Pirate ID account support.

Our student technicians provide assistance with:

  • Installing/troubleshooting ECU-supported software
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Identifying and removing malware
  • Connecting/troubleshooting access to ECU's wired and wireless networks
  • Pirate ID / MFA support.

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Qualifications:

  • Experience with both Windows and macOS operating systems is preferred.
  • Good customer service skills are preferred.
  • Student should be reliable, outgoing, a strong team player, motivated, and should be able to take direction.
