About this Role - Tool Coordinator We are looking for a talented Tool Coordinator that has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for coordinating the activities involved with maintaining a tool inventory, along with the timely filling and shipping of tool stock orders to job sites. What You'll Do - Fills stock orders by selecting and pulling the proper tools from inventory. Assure that field operations receive all tools needed in a timely matter - Arranges shipping of stock order to job sites over the phone and on-line - Works with PM's, Superintendents and GF's to demobilize tools at the end of a project - Perform physical inventory of tools coming into warehouse. Make transfer of tools on and off projects within the MJ System - Makes sure tools in warehouse are organized and well maintained. - Effectively communicate and train MJE personnel regarding Tool Control policies, procedures, systems, processes and operating procedures - Maintain effective communications with Tool Control in Leesport and Iron Mountain; coordinate tool transfers, scraping tools, obsolete tools, tool repair, etc - Performs warehouse work such as unloading and loading trucks, stocking shelves, operating a forklift and maintaining inventories - Performs minor tool repairs - Delivers materials and tools to job sites as well as other daily errand runs What You'll Bring - Ability to communicate effectively, show initiative, and fit into a team environment - Thorough knowledge of electrical contractor tools - A basic understanding of inventory management concepts - Excellent computer skills including a familiarity Microsoft Office, Outlook and JD Edwards - Proven organizational skills with the ability work independently and meet deadlines - Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs - Demonstrated multi-tasking and data entry skills - High School diploma.
