NTN has an immediate opening in our Sales Department for a Territory Manager in our Western Pennsylvania/Eastern Ohio.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing the sales and distribution of NBCA products and services to the industrial aftermarket in the geographical area of Western Pennsylvania/Eastern Ohio.
• Strategically direct these sales through select current and potential distributor customers to a targeted consumer market. Establish a marketing plan that meets or exceeds specific sales goals set by management.
• Assist existing and potential direct distributor customers in the stocking, marketing and policy administration of NBCA products and services to the Industrial consumer. This would include making product training available, product marketing and direct sales assistance for the direct distributor customer. This activity will consume 35% of direct call activity.
• Directly market NBCA products and brands to a targeted consumer market. This will include direct calls on various end-user customers and their MRO departments with the goal of establishing a brand preference by the consumer to pull sales through the distribution channel. This activity will consume 65% of direct call activity.
• Communicate activity and program requirements to NBCA management using on line call reports as well as weekly reports that summarize potential business opportunity, activity, follow up and any requirements for support activity from supporting NBCA departments. Other reporting requirements will include but are not limited to expense reporting, customer concerns, market information and competitive activity.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSME or similar 4-year technical undergraduate degree in a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Power Transmission and Industrial Distribution.
• Strong aptitude for mechanical applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, power point and access.
• Self-starter, ability to learn quickly.
• Team player with good organization and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of CRM programs a plus.
• Knowledge of rolling element bearing application and design.
• Ability to interface with maintenance and engineering customers.
• The ability to travel overnight 50% of the time.
