Job Summary

Administers the Company's corporate charitable giving program Forging Hope, Associate disaster assistance and strategic community volunteer programs to ensure alignment with corporate core values and pillars of giving. Graciously supports and represents the company in all activities associated with volunteer activities and the community. Collaborates and engages with various internal and external stakeholders to cultivate effective relationships for diversity and inclusion program development and donation support initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:



  • Responsible for the administration of corporate charitable giving program initiatives, fundraising strategies and donor stewardship.
  • Supports engagement initiatives, including community events, workplace giving campaigns, and donation drives for charitable organizations.
  • Continuously helps research new charitable organizations ensuring commitment to the Company's mission and values.
  • Reviews requests for charitable giving support and grant applications to ensure adherence to application processes and timelines, and communicates all decisions in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Monitors and tracks progress with charitable organizations and coordinates payments according to program guidelines.
  • Coordinates with the Payroll Team for disaster assistance disbursement, maintains communication with affected associates, and tracks data through resolution.
  • Partners with Creative Services to coordinate social, print, advertising, etc., and Forging Hope assets to present to charities for donation recognition.
  • Helps administer the jewelry donation process with collecting donation pieces and supplying jewelry photos for auction items as requested.
  • Collaborates with the Communications Team to publish Associate giving and Charitable Giving Initiatives and impact stories throughout the Company.
  • Manages and tracks the support of organizations and Chamber of Commerce memberships located in the communities surrounding James Avery's headquarters, stores or facilities.
  • Conducts analysis, tracks program outcomes and impact, and ensures records are updated and accessible for various reporting and dashboards.
  • Organizes and schedules funding decision meetings, and prepares presentations for Executive Board and Committee approval.
  • Maintains the Charitable giving email account and online web applications. Responds timely to charitable giving program questions and provides policy information regarding charitable support.
  • Responsible for mail correspondence, inventory and tracking shipping and loss reconciliation.
  • Performs additional duties and assists with other initiatives or projects as assigned by Leadership.


WHAT IS REQUIRED:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 3 years' experience in the administration of charitable giving efforts, associate assistance programs, volunteer community events or similar work.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities.
  • Detailed oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel to various work and event locations as business need requires.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Experience with charitable on-line donation management systems.
  • Experience with Oracle.
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet.
