Position Description

The data analytics & insights team supports this mission by converting raw data into actionable insights. We are looking for a strong data analyst/architect to support a specific ad tech project where we are setting up ingestion of data from various SSPs, combining it in our Snowflake environment, transforming it to be usable with our existing datasets, and then supporting the business in generating insights and business decision support.

Responsibilities:



  • Understanding and architecting the incoming SSP data so that it can be combined with existing data and be leveraged to improve processes and decisions
  • Provide advice and guidance on data architecture best practices
  • Analyze user behavior data and service usage data to provide insights per business, product, and advertising ask
  • On an ongoing basis, analyze and report on service performance; develop dashboards to measure important metrics and monitor service growth
  • Support data collection/analytics implementation for new feature launches or new advertising campaigns, e.g., work with ad sales/product/engineering to identify and implement analytics and data requirements
  • Conduct complex statistical analysis to provide strategic insights for operational decisions, GTM, content/partnership strategies
  • Attend and participate in standups, brainstorm sessions, and presentations as needed with company teams, executives, or external partners



Requirements:



  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficient in data querying and manipulation in SQL.
  • Experience with cleaning, transforming, analyzing, and visualizing medium to large-sized data sets.
  • Experience with R/Python-based data analytics/visualization tools or similar languages.
  • Experience in the ad tech field preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and well-versed in the use of data, content, and technology to conclude and put results into practice.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of organization and with outside partners
  • Thrives in a fast-paced business environment with the ability to adapt to change.
