Reports to Regional Vice President, Global Accounts

Position Overview Provide sales support and assistance to the Global Account team. This includes customer support and interaction (e.g.: attending client meetings to discuss product/product application account profiling and product positioning); monthly reporting and analysis; and customer service follow up including end users, dealers, and internal Teknion sales and operations departments.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Effective management of pre-order and forecasting Activities through project execution and completion.
  • Works collaboratively with Operations team and utilizes internal teams to manage process. Accountable for clear communication between operations and dealer support teams.
  • Establishes and leads pre-order meetings for assigned projects
    • Identify team members, outlining roles and responsibilities
    • Assess risks, consulting with internal specialists where needed
    • Manage meeting minutes for Major projects, identifying next steps and ownership,
  • Partners with Global Accounts Manager to ensure forecasting is accurate and SQ's are properly set up with appropriate discounting prior to order submission.
  • Utilizes Salesforce to proactively monitor statuses and make appropriate updates.
  • Awareness of order status and ensure all orders are shipping on time.
  • Serve as liaison to manufacturing for projects.
  • Responds to all manufacturing clarification questions in an expeditious manner to ensure orders are not stopped in production.
  • Manages delay notifications (DN's) and escalates when deliverables fall out of established timeline for installation.
  • Review and be familiar with all marketing memos, attend all product launch training sessions, proactively review price and product guides to be familiar with offerings, understand where and how product is produced within the Teknion facilities.
  • Ability to position products appropriate to the defined geography to promote additional sales.
  • Participates and/or coordinates meetings as required, offers support and advice, shares ideas in a collaborative environment, while maintaining communication throughout.
  • Ensures deadlines and client expectations are met.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience, Skill and Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.); relevant years of experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements.
  • 4+ years experience in project management; office furniture with manufacturer, installer, dealer, designer, or architect preferred.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to multitask and meet critical deadlines.
  • Consistent professional with excellent communication and presentation skills with both internal and external customers.
  • Proficient in Word , Excel , Power Point, Google databases.
  • Ability to read workstation typicals and floor plans and knowledge of design and specification software a plus.
