Reports To: Vice President, US Sales Position Summary Guide the overall direction of the Teknion Wood program for the US market. Focus on sales, marketing, product development and factory, field sales and dealer partner relationships. Serves as dealer main point of contact for our dealers related to wood products as it relates to the specific dealer performance, understanding capabilities, leading strategy alignment and growth opportunities. Develops and implements dealer-related strategic plans, performance objectives and goals to meet corporate objectives and increase market share. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Focus on identified dealer partners and field sales to educate them on new and existing wood products in person and virtually. Training includes story, benefits, features, functionality and sales techniques.
- Develop dealer plans to support growth of top tier dealers.
- Determine forecasts and budgets for the Teknion Wood division with respect to the top identified dealers
- Understand and plan for growth of small to mid-size dealers.
- Participate in major pursuits to help close "Teknion Wood" sales and represent Teknion as an ambassador of all product lines and services.
- Create sales strategy for products as they relate to our product map and competition.
- Collaborate with Marketing to help determine direction and agenda for Teknion Wood division. Create and distribute sales tools that communicate the sales strategy.
- In collaboration with Corporate stakeholders, direct new product development based on market needs and feedback for US requirements with respect to new products, design and product enhancements.
- Liaison with field sales, dealer partners, customers and manufacturing to communicate broad and specific requirements and market trends for the US markets.
- Work with other ancillary product directors/specialists to create seamless integration.
- Participate in the annual planning and quarterly review session for key dealers.
- Prompt, reliable, and regular attendance
Experience, Skill and Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required. Relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Must have at least 5 years in wood case goods specific sales experience.
- Must have in-depth understanding of wood case goods manufacturing and full-market range of competitive wood case goods lines.
- Technical wood knowledge (species, properties, applications, finishes/finishing, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong project/program development background.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships based on trust and integrity with dealer and internal leaders and employees.

- Must be a team player and business partner who is open, communicative, and committed to the overall success of the organization.
