Mine Hydrogeologist III (U.S. Borax Inc, Boron, CA)

Dewatering audits, including assessment of observed pore pressures versus targets. Groundwater model construction and calibration taking into consideration the hydrogeologic cross-sections along key pit sectors. Development of predictive models from numerical analyses. Development of water balance for the mine. Hydrogeology project management, including review of cost proposals and processing of invoices. Implementation of slope depressurization systems. Monitoring and design reconciliation.

Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, $105,531 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology or a related field and 3 years of related work experience.

Must have at least 2 years of experience in:

  • GeoEnSEren;
  • GeoExplorer; and,
  • FEFLOW or MODFLOW.
