JOB TITLE: Driver Tank

LOCATION:Kilgore, TX

POSITION REPORTS TO: Terminal Manager

COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience, position and location

SCHEDULE: Days. Schedule TBD. Overtime and weekends are expected; must be able to travel overnight

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures
  • Safely secure and deliver storage tanks, equipment or bulk packaged product to various customer or terminal locations in a timely and efficient manner
  • Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara)
  • Complete paperwork accurately and timely, if applicable
  • Service/Repair/Replace pumps and other equipment (monitoring and fuel management systems)
  • Respond and handle customer issues
  • Comply with Sun Coast's accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor
  • Other related tasks as assigned by manager

Pay Range: - , General Benefits: BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Locals only please. Must live within 60 miles of terminal
  • Minimum age 23
  • Valid class A license with hazmat/tanker endorsements
  • Must have at least 1 year minimum tractor trailer experience
  • Must be able to drive a 10speed
  • Must be able to load, unload, strap, or chain down equipment
  • Must be able to pass background screening including MVR and criminal
  • May be subject to comply with site specific drug testing requirements which may include hair follicle drug testing
  • Must meet all DOT and FMSCA requirements for commercial drivers
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and an extended workweek-overnight and/or out of town travel may be required
  • Stable employment history
  • May be required to lift objects weighing 50 pounds
  • Some mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must be able to read, speak, write and communicate using the English language well enough to perform the job functions
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, and for 12 to 14 hours a day
  • Strong customer service skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, manage time, organize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment



PREFERRED

  • Experience using a roll-off trailer
  • Experience with Landoll Trailer
  • Experience operating a fork lift
