Job Title: Driver Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30043 Job Type: 06+ Months Contract Job Mode: On-Site Pay rate: $15.75/hour on W2 Without Benefit Shift hours: Monday to Friday 29 hours a week Part Time Job Description: Operates van and/or bus for purposes of providing transportation for clients to and from designated locations on a daily basis. Provides transportation for demand responses of clients to include, driving clients to medical appointments, going to drug store, post office, etc., and for special trips such as going to the mall. Provide assistance to clients entering and leaving van/bus and escorts as needed. Delivers meals to homes as needed as part of Meals-on-Wheels Programs. Responsible for sorting and packing meals into delivery bags then loading bags into county vehicle. Type Addresses into GPS, drive to client's homes; and deliver appropriate meal to the client. Return to office once meals have been delivered for additional prep duties. Prepares and maintains accurate records as required. Collects, records and posts daily contributions by clients for transportation and turns into supervisor. Background check will be conducted. Current driving license required High School/GED needed. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for a long period of time, climb in and out of truck, climb stairs to client's homes.
