Job Overview:

The Safety Ambassador Assistant is responsible for the daily operations of the program. Collaborating with our school partners in mentoring the high school safety ambassadors in creating their safety presentations to deliver to elementary school students.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience related work history may supersede academic requirements
• Effective Communication Skills
• Public Speaking Skills
• Strong Organizational Skills
• Detailed Oriented

Preferred:

• College Degree in Public Health Childhood Education Social Work or related field

Scheduling Requirements:

• Working Shift: Monday Friday
• Day Shift
• Part-Time, 20 Hours Per Week

Essential Functions:

• Coordination of all activities with current schools
• Enroll new schools
• Event planning and implementation
• Coordinate the Safety Summit and SAP Recognition luncheon
• Event project planning and implementation
• Public speaking
