Chartwells K12 is hiring a Director of Dining Services to oversee operations at 10 schools within the South Bend Community School Corporation (SBCSC) in Indiana. As part of a large-scale program serving over 14,000 students across 35 school buildings, you'll join a team of 27 passionate salaried managers and report directly to the Resident District Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive impact in a mix of elementary and middle schools-leading daily operations, inspiring a team of 50 associates and 1 supervisor, and building strong, trust-based relationships with school partners, students, and staff. This position is perfect for someone who connects easily with others and brings experience managing multi-unit operations. You'll play a key role in hiring, mentoring, and coaching team members to build a high-performing, motivated workforce. A day in the life includes being a hands-on leader, ensuring compliance with USDA regulations, and staying highly visible and engaged in the school community.
