Description Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Field Technician to support a large-scale label printer deployment as part of the Epic Beaker rollout, which underpins critical lab workflows across hospital departments. This role will also provide hands-on support for a variety of end-user devices including laptops, desktops, and peripheral hardware. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and validate label printers across multiple lab and clinical environments. Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues, escalating complex problems to appropriate teams. Support additional end-user devices (e.g., laptops, desktops, other printers) as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of deployments, configurations, and inventory. Track and report on deployment progress, replacements, and upgrades across departments and facilities. Collaborate with IT, clinical, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to lab operations. Adhere to hospital safety and compliance standards during all on-site activities. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on foot for extended periods. Familiarity with Epic Beaker or other LIS (Laboratory Information Systems) is a strong plus. Working knowledge of Windows OS, device imaging, and basic networking. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, clinical setting. Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
