TEKsystems has a 12 month contract role for an SAP Data Validation Analyst (Finance). Ideally the client would like resources based in Colorado that could commute occasionally to site -Location: Loveland, CO but they are open to a remote resource. Core Business Problem: Data reconciliation failures between SAP HANA Power BI causing millions in quarterly audit discrepancies with their auditor. Need someone to eliminate the bottleneck where accounting staff constantly mediate between SAP consultants and report builders. Must-Have Technical Skills: * SAP HANA: Abilit to extract/query data from the HANA database (no development work involved) * SAP Finance: Good understanding of FICO modules, including things like Inventory Balances, Costing, AVR, Sales Orders, Pricing Conditions, Discounts, etc. * End-to-End Data Troubleshooting: Trace discrepancies from Power BI reports back to data in HANA database Key Responsibilities: * Identify root causes when Power BI reports don't tie to SAP source data * Track data flow issues through: Power BI HANA SAP sales orders/transactions * Support pricing condition mapping validation and cleanup * Resolve inventory and costing reconciliation issues * Bridge technical SAP resources with business reporting needs Preferred Skills: * Power BI knowledge (helpful but not required - they have builders) * Accounting background (aids communication but not mandatory) * Data transformation experience Other notes: * Consultant will not be doing any SAP development work, nor will he/she perform any type of system configuration. * Will be aligned to the Accounting & Finance team (not IT), and will work with those business stakeholders on a daily basis. * Must have OUTSTANDING communication skills, no exceptions. * Professional consulting demeanor (these are always external consulting roles) Problem-Solving & Analytical: * Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset * Ability to work independently with minimal guidance * Proactive in identifying and resolving data discrepancies We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
