Description Position Summary: Schwickert's Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Schwickert's Tecta America is hiring a Service Call Taker to join our fast-paced and professional team right here in Mankato. This is a customer service-focused position supporting Roofing, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Duct Cleaning service teams. You'll be the first point of contact for incoming customer calls and the first step in ensuring they get the help they need. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Answer incoming service calls in a polite, timely, and professional manner. Gather and enter basic customer information into our system (name, address, service need, etc.). Accurately transfer call details to the correct service department. Remain calm and courteous-even when the phones get busy. Take brief call notes and document essential details in the system. Additional duties Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Strong phone etiquette and a clear speaking voice. Basic computer and typing skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment. The employee is also required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
