Externship Program, Law Center will be responsible for the administration of the Law Center's Externship Program for LL.M. Students, through which over 140 students a year earn credit for work at hundreds of field placements. The Director will review and approve all LL.M. Externship applicants and field placements; run the day-to-day operations of the LL.M. Externship Program; advise students interested in, or participating in, the LL.M. Externship Program; assist in the development of the LL.M. externship seminar curriculum; evaluate student field placements; monitor the overall compliance and quality of the LL.M. Externship Program; recommend LL.M. externship policy changes as appropriate; and promote the LL.M. Externship Program. Duties include but are not limited to:
Work Interactions The Director of the LL.M. Externship Program will report to the Assistant Dean of Experiential Education and is a key member of the team. Together with the Assistant Dean of Experiential Education, the Director of the LL.M. Externship Program is responsible for ensuring the program is of the highest quality and provides a meaningful educational experience for the Law Center's students. The Director will work closely with other members of the Law Center's administrative staff, including the Office of Academic Affairs, the Office of the Registrar, Office of Graduate and International Programs, the Office of Graduate Careers, the Office of Public Interest and Community Services, the Office of Career Strategy, the Office of the Dean of Students, the Law Center's Centers & Institutes, and Information Systems Technology. Pay Range: The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $54,616.00 - $100,493.33 Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
