The Inventory Clerk will assist the Materials Management department with maintaining Packaging /Ingredients inventory accuracy. The clerk will analyze variances between WMS and ERP systems and adjust the frequency of cycle counts as needed.

This position will require the employee to work overtime as needed. Overtime is scheduled based upon individual job responsibilities and the needs of the department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Maintain accurate inventory balances between WMS and ERP - FormWeigh and ERP inventory systems.
  • Administer the cycle count program for all Packaging and WIP items.
  • Administer cycle count program for all Ingredients, WIP, and Kits.
  • Inventory corrections for revision regarding package changes (-A to -B); Pre-counts for final runs, and clean up final balances after transition.
  • Investigate inventory errors to determine the root cause and make corrections as needed.
  • Handle End-of-run Packaging and WIP materials adjustments in WISE/QAD systems.
  • Physical counts of items used in Pharmaceutical and regular products with large variances, as needed.
  • Update the HSMS system with all the Hold Notification Forms from weekly reworks.
  • Assist and backup the Inventory team as needed.
  • Other projects as assigned/required.



QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE



  • Minimum of 1 year of Inventory experience within a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Must have WMS software experience. Experience with WISE/QAD/FormWeigh is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English Spanish is required.
  • A high school degree is required.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES



  • Strong working knowledge and proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be highly organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Spanish, with the ability to work independently within a team environment required.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment



BENEFITS & SALARY

Jel Sert Company is committed to pay transparency and will provide further compensation information during the interview process. The minimum compensation for the Inventory Clerk is $18.21 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined upon an offer. Compensation is determined by a candidate's experience, education, skills, training, and internal equity within our organization.   • Medium work: Exerting up to 50lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 10lbs of force constantly to move objects.
  • Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, documentation, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, and/or visual inspection.
  • Subject to noise, which may cause the employee to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level.
