The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the hotel's marketing and branding efforts through administrative support, content creation, digital engagement, and coordination of promotional initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who is creative, organized, and passionate about hospitality marketing and digital media.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with the planning, creation, and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote the hotel's brand, services, and events. Administer day-to-day social media activities including content creation, post scheduling, community engagement, and performance tracking across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Capture on-property content such as photos and short videos for use in social media, website, and promotional materials. Use tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or similar platforms to design digital assets, flyers, and other marketing collateral. Support email marketing campaigns by helping to write content, build campaigns, and manage contact lists. Maintain an organized digital marketing calendar to coordinate key dates, promotions, and content deadlines. Provide administrative support for the marketing department, including preparing documents, organizing files, maintaining contact lists, and assisting with internal communications. Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to support marketing activities and ensure brand consistency. Assist with on-site marketing support during hotel activations or special events (e.g., signage setup, content capture, guest engagement). Distribute marketing materials to designated areas of the property and external partners. Respond to marketing-related inquiries via phone or email in a professional and timely manner. Perform other marketing-related tasks or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience or education in marketing, communications, hospitality, or a related field preferred. Strong interest in branding, social media, and digital engagement. Familiarity with social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express). Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Comfortable capturing and editing basic photo and video content. Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) is a plus. Ability to follow instructions, take initiative, and work both independently and collaboratively. Ability to stand and/or sit and perform job functions for the duration of a shift, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to lift and transport lightweight marketing materials (up to 10 lbs) and access storage areas or file systems.
Compensation Salary Range: $31.00 - $31.90 Hourly
