IT Program Manager Position Summary:
The IT Program Manager will be responsible for leading complex, high impact IT programs that support business strategy, improve efficiency, and ensure systems align with our operational goals. This individual will oversee the execution of multiple interconnected projects, manage cross-functional teams, and maintain constant communication with executive leadership and stakeholders.
You'll serve as a key link between technology and business-ensuring that every project delivers value, stays on track, and meets the evolving needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define program objectives, scope, success criteria, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple IT projects, ensuring consistency, timeliness, and budget alignment.
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage internal and external resources across projects.
- Develop and manage program budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking.
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track.
- Ensure compliance with data security, healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and internal IT standards.
- Act as the communication bridge between IT, leadership, and operational departments.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and leadership to project managers and team members.
- Continuously monitor, report, and improve program performance based on KPIs and stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification highly preferred.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-level IT programs involving cross-functional coordination and multiple workstreams.
- Strong understanding of systems integration, data architecture, and enterprise software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
- Skilled in conflict resolution, risk management, and change management.
- Tech-savvy with a strong grasp of infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity best practices.
