PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $111,400.00-$136,100.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $86,800.00 - $160,600.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage. Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. As the Manager of a Retail Branch III at BECU, you'll do more than manage the Gig Harbor location, you'll inspire a high-performing team, lead by example, and foster an environment where exceptional member experiences and community engagement thrive. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead a High-Performing Team: Coach, mentor, and guide a large team of financial professionals-often with multiple leaders-to deliver outstanding service, grow their careers, and exceed performance expectations.
  • Create an Exceptional Member Experience: Set the tone for service excellence, ensuring every member feels seen, supported, and empowered to make confident financial decisions.
  • Drive Sales & Service Success: Align your team with branch goals and BECU's strategic purpose, helping team members connect members with products and services that add real value.
  • Champion Community Impact: Deepen our community presence by building local relationships and engaging in events and opportunities that expand brand awareness and grow membership.
  • Own Operational Excellence: Ensure branch operations run smoothly-from accurate scheduling and adherence to service levels, to quality control, compliance, and brand standards.
  • Grow & Develop Talent: Invest in your team's success through ongoing coaching, regular 1:1s, and intentional career development planning, creating a pipeline of future leaders.
  • Manage Budget & Resource Planning: Support the district director in managing the branch's budget while planning staff coverage to match business needs and forecasted volumes.
  • Partner Across the Organization: Collaborate with internal business units-like mortgage, business, and investment services-and external property partners to ensure seamless operations and a unified member experience.
  • Promote Compliance & Training: Make sure all staff meet training standards, follow BECU policies, and are up-to-date with credit union regulations, keeping our branch and members protected.
  • Contribute to Strategic Growth: Use your knowledge of credit union products and procedures to support broader goals, represent BECU's brand, and influence district success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience required.
  • Minimum five years of leadership experience required.
  • Leading a team of direct reports required.
  • Minimum five years of experience in a sales/retail required.
  • Minimum two years financial institution required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading a team size of at least seven direct reports preferred.
