This hands-on position is responsible for supervising the daily workflow in the VAS Prepack department, working in conjunction with and under the direction of the manager, overseeing the allocation of workload to the prepack team. This supervisor will work side-by-side with the VAS Prepack associates, providing job direction, training and monitoring performance and execution.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Stay actively involved on the warehouse floor, monitoring workflow and shifting resources as needed to meet business demands and enhance productivity.
  • Direct the daily flow of orders based on request and cancellation dates, ensuring smooth order management.
  • Track and ensure the timely processing of all rush orders, coordinating their prompt transition to shipping.
  • Serve as the onsite supervisor for the Customer Operations Watch Technician, overseeing battery changes & engraving.

Performance & Metrics

  • Maintain and monitor departmental KPIs, ensuring targets are met daily.
  • Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity in day-to-day operations.

Team Leadership & Support

  • Provide job direction and real-time support to departmental staff.
  • Work closely with the department manager and Human Resources to fulfill staffing requirements, including recruitment, orientation, and training-particularly during quarter-end and peak periods.
  • Assist in overseeing temporary associates and ensuring consistent productivity and adherence to protocols.
  • Partner with management and HR to support conflict resolution and improve employee morale.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Field incoming calls and emails to the VAS Pre-Pack department related to special labeling and order processing, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors, managers, and team members to address order-related issues with a strong customer-focused mindset.
  • Support brand execution priorities including advertising, special promotions, and urgent requests.

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote and reinforce safe working practices in coordination with the department manager.
  • Support ongoing training and awareness to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Leadership Support & Special Projects

  • Provide backup support for the Manager, VAS Prepack & Vault Operations, and the Senior Manager of Inbound and Shipping Operations during absences.
  • Contribute to and support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a similar position in a distribution/warehouse setting is a must
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in packing, shipping, and/or receiving
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish is a must
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence across multiple organizational levels
  • Excellent organizational, time management and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (evenings and weekends as needed)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to bend, squat and stay on feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $68,000 per year. Base salary is determined by individualized factors such as experience and market location.
