Job Summary |
The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice is looking for an adjunct, or multiple instructors, to teach classes including multiple sections of Introductory Sociology. This will be an in-person, on-campus instructor role. |
Essential Functions |
- Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.
- Responsibilities for this adjunct faculty position include course preparation, teaching, grading and being available to students who have questions or require extra help.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Master's degree in Sociology or a related field.
- A keen interest in engaging students and fostering their learning.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements |
Employee is subject to indoor work, protected from weather conditions. Work is sedentary in nature and involves exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently/constantly in order to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move object.
