Make your mark at the world's largest HVAC company Daikin Applied is seeking a senior level Service and Solutions Sales Account Manager. This individual develops and maintains customer relationships in order to sell preventative maintenance contracts, service and repair work on commercial HVAC products, retrofit/upgrades, larger scale/complex turnkey projects, contracting, controls, or other advanced value-added solutions. The role serves as an advisor and consults on products & solutions based on client's needs.

Location: Seattle with travel to visit customers, jobs sites and some in-office work.

What you will do:



  • Works in assigned territory, partnering closely with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office and Service Center Managers, sales colleagues, the Parts team, and Technicians.
  • Meets sales goals through the development of existing customers and prospecting new business.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from Daikin installed equipment database, industry sources, business directories, vertical market information or any other lead generation source.
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, build customer relationships and follow up on customer concerns.
  • Prepares cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations. Verifies and quotes prices, credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Performs tests and conducts surveys on competitive products in order to determine the need for product alterations or the development of new products.
  • Prepares reports of pipeline, sales activity, and business plans.
  • Identifies and implements tools and resources to assist in sales efforts (e.g. energy rebates, estimated payoffs, ROI).
  • Plans, organizes, and guides projects through to completion; involves internal and external subject matter experts as needed.
  • Works with multiple vendors/contractors to deliver complex, highly customizable products/solutions to clients.
  • Researches and actively seeks out enterprise level clients.
  • Mentors / coaches less experienced staff as needed and may lead informal training sessions

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED and equivalent experience considered.
  • 2+ years sales experience with demonstrated success in selling commercial HVAC service or equipment. Adjacent industry may be considered.
  • Mechanical aptitude/ability.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle record

  • Salesforce experience.
  • Leadership / mentoring / coaching skills

The typical salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $135,000 in the Seattle, WA area + a sales incentive target. The range displayed represents the pay range for positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
