Inside Sales Representative

Position Summary:

Milacron is looking for an Aftermarket Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Batavia, Ohio location. The Inside Sales Representative role is responsible for developing comprehensive sales quotations, tracking order progress, intervening with customizers and internal organization on order issues, working closely with the sales organization to determine order specifications, and working with manufacturing or warehouse to set delivery dates and resolve issues.

Work You'll Do:

  • Professionally handle a high volume of customer phone calls and emails as the primary point of contact
  • Prepare accurate sales quotations, enter orders, process returns, and track order progress
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain pricing and technical product information
  • Collaborate with the sales team and customers to relay confirmed ship dates and resolve issues
  • Expedite orders and proactively resolve delays or order discrepancies
  • Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries and complaints
  • Partner with Aftermarket teams (Sales, Service, Technical Support, Retrofit, Auxiliaries) and other internal teams (buyers/planners, engineering, vendors) to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Normal Working Hours: 9AM - 6PM EST
  • Other duties as prescribed by management to support the team.

Team:

  • This role will be part of the Aftermarket team and reports directly to a Service Business Manager. The Aftermarket team is responsible for supporting customers after the initial sale, including handling sales of retrofit products, managing communications, addressing billing inquiries, providing suggestions, and delivering post-sale technical support services. The team's overall goal is to maintain strong customer relationships and ensure that customer claims are resolved fairly and in accordance with consumer laws.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of customer service or inside sales experience in a corporate environment
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows (Excel, Outlook, and analytics)
  • Ability to communicate with professionalism both internally and externally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Knowledge of export compliance and international trade regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR)
  • Experience generating commercial documents
  • Comfortable working across time zones and managing differing customer expectations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using ERP or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP)
  • Familiarity with technical or industrial products and part identification
  • Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or specifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer needs
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish - strong preference for Spanish-speaking candidates to support a broader customer base
  • Familiarity with international shipping documentation and processes (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, INCOTERMS)
