  • Leads and coordinates high-level and detailed design deliverables for security systems technical architecture and interfaces. Researches, evaluates, and recommends innovative technologies, methodologies, and products to enhance technical security systems. Provides technical support to security professionals and business partners, including planning, developing, and coordinating large programs/projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides technical support to security professionals and business partners for security programs and systems.
  • Provides technical support for planning, developing, organizing, and coordinating small projects.
  • Provides specifications and coordination of projects, regional, and department areas.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:

  • Knowledge of Security access control and security video systems with specific knowledge of Lenel Onguard, Genetec, and Airship experience.
  • Technical knowledge of security system configuration and operation
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, problem structuring and problem-solving skills.
  • Software skills, including Microsoft O365 and functionality software
  • Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of customers, management, and security integrators
  • Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.

This is not a Cyber-Security role or function. We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented CCTV and Card Access Control Specialist to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, troubleshooting, supporting, and maintaining CCTV and card access control systems to ensure the security and safety of our facilities.. This role involves the development, implementation, and evaluation of security strategies to safeguard FedEx premises and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

System Deployment:

  • Install and configure CCTV and card access control systems according to company specifications and standards.
  • Work with vendors and contractors to ensure proper system setup and integration.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine optimal equipment placement and system requirements.

Troubleshooting:

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to CCTV and card access control systems promptly.
  • Implement solutions to prevent recurrence of system failures or malfunctions.
  • Maintain a log of troubleshooting activities and solutions for future reference.

Support:

  • Provide ongoing technical support to staff and team members regarding system operations.
  • Assist users in understanding system functionalities and addressing their concerns.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to ensure effective system usage.

Maintenance:

  • Perform regular maintenance checks and updates on security systems to ensure continuous operation.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to identify and rectify potential issues before they become problems.
  • Keep systems updated with the latest software and firmware to enhance security features.

Work/Domicile Location(s):

  • This position will be hybrid in Collierville, Tennessee; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania or Plano, Texas and candidates must live within a 50 mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.

Relocation:

  • Relocation assistance may be available based upon business needs.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, engineering, or related experience.

Minimum Experience:

  • Two (2) years' experience in project/program management, systems design, installation, or service of security systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience in the use of project management and security systems platforms.
  • Experience in planning security projects installations, proposals, business cases, or schedules.
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and planning skills. Strong human relations and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
