SUMMARY Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, intakes patient requests, maintains pharmacy operations, cleanliness, completes point of sale transactions and completes return to stock activities for medications not picked up. - Intake prescription requests from patients walking up to the front counter. - Assists patients at point of sale under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. - Collect money, provide patient with a receipt, and prepare daily cash deposits consistently. - Assist in maintaining refrigerator logs. - Maintain the cleanliness of the prescription pharmacy in an organized manner. - Report and/or forward operational issues to leadership and use reporting utilities appropriately to expedite resolutions. - When appropriate, review physician orders and transcribe required information into patients' computerized drug profiles. - Return to Stock medication to patients' profile when appropriate. - Float to other pharmacies, as needed, as determined by leadership. - Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED; Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern Licensed in the State of Georgia Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program. (Preferred) Zero to one year job related experience One or more years' experience in a retail setting.
