Job Description Summary

The Senior Manager, Global Platform Operations leads the management, optimization, and security of IT platforms, ensuring seamless operations across cloud and on-premises environments. You will prioritize third-party service delivery while encouraging a "one team" mindset, driving collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence. You will work with Engineering peers to align platform operations with strategic projects, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and new ideas. You will report to the Director of Technical Operations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead third-party service delivery, ensuring supplier partners meet contractual obligations and performance standards.
• Champion a "one team" culture, encouraging collaboration across our teams and external partners.
• Partner with Engineering peers to align IT platform operations with strategic roadmaps and our goals.
• Oversee Azure, Windows, and Linux platform operations, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Work with Disaster Recovery team to refine, implement and test storage and backup strategies to safeguard critical business data and ensuring rapid recovery from system incidents.
• Promote accountability by setting clear expectations, tracking performance, and improving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT infrastructure and cloud solutions.
• Guide process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential risks.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for the IT operations team.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Typically requires 8 years management experience.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and external delivery partners.
• Background in infrastructure operations, including cloud and on-premises server environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of patching, security management, disaster recovery planning, and system administration.
• Experience handling outages, resource optimization (e.g., memory), and collaborating with application teams to resolve technical issues.
• Experience with contract management and vendor performance oversight.
• Navigate complex delivery landscapes and remove operational roadblocks-both technical and organizational.
• Can manage cross-functional dynamics, including navigating politically sensitive situations.
• Committed to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
• High-level management experience complemented by a strong technical foundation.
