Summary of Position

The Account Executive (AE) plays a critical role in driving growth within Teladoc Health. This role is responsible for managing and expanding strategic relationships, driving expansion of enterprise virtual care solutions that help address workforce challenges, championing improvements in patient safety and outcomes, and supporting digital transformation. The AE serves as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives and stakeholders across the portfolio, aligning Teladoc's capabilities with client priorities to maximize clinical and operational impact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own and grow relationships serve as the primary point of contact for executive, clinical, and operational stakeholders across a portfolio.

  • Drive adoption and expansion of Teladoc's virtual care solutions, including inpatient programs (e.g., virtual nursing, virtual sitting), specialty care (e.g., neurology, behavioral health), and enterprise telehealth platforms.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that map health system priorities, identify whitespace opportunities, and outline a path for enterprise-wide growth.

  • Lead complex sales cycles, from discovery and solution development to contracting and implementation, partnering closely with internal experts across clinical operations, product, implementation, and finance.

  • Establish and advance C-level relationships, position Teladoc Health as a long-term strategic partner in achieving workforce, quality, and digital health objectives.

  • Proactively identify new business opportunities, securing expansion deals and new service lines that align with hospital system needs.

  • Use data and clinical outcomes to build compelling narratives, delivering executive-level presentations that demonstrate value realization and strategic alignment.

  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams including Product, Clinical, Finance, Legal, Solution Design, and Customer Success to ensure seamless delivery and support.

  • Manage customer issues and ensure high satisfaction, quickly resolving challenges to protect and grow partnerships.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account documentation, contributing to overall team targets and company growth objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience within the health systems space.

  • Proven success in enterprise healthcare sales, preferably selling to hospital executives and health system leaders (CIO, CNO, CMO, CFO, etc.).

  • Deep understanding of health system operational and clinical challenges, including workforce shortages, patient safety initiatives, quality measures, and digital transformation.

  • Skilled at navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments and building consensus among diverse decision makers.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to create strategic account plans, financial models, and compelling executive presentations.

  • Passion for improving healthcare delivery and leveraging virtual care to drive meaningful outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills, with a natural, effective consultative style

  • Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable ability to corral and manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience advising, presenting to and persuading senior corporate personnel

  • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with highly talented professionals

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Ideally, a master's degree in public health (not required)

Work Environment

Travel: 10% + upon business needs

The base salary range for this position is$120,000 - $130,000.In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here:Teladoc Health Benefits 2025.Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
