We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Business Development/Corporate Project Manager - Water Treatment to drive customer satisfaction and growth of Solenis' water treatment business in the Pulp & Paper market segment. In this role, you will drive sales initiatives and account management best practices to assure excellence in the customer experience.

This position offers a unique high visibility role in our organization to drive commercial excellence and growth in one of Solenis' most significant markets while delivering on our commitment to long-term value creation for our customers.

Who You Are

As the Business Development/Corporate Project Manager you will efficiently and effectively shift between new account startups, support of existing strategic customer accounts, and driving new business opportunities.

  • Support and stabilize business at significant strategic accounts both in person and remotely
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration within the North American organization
  • This role requires an experienced professional who deliver results via hands-on execution, fostering collaboration across teams and geographies.

What You'll Do

  • Engage at existing Solenis accounts to:
  • Coach, train, guide local representatives to ensure account management best practices are in place for managing current business
  • Identify and help drive new business opportunities
  • Assure sales process best practices are utilized for efficiently driving new business opportunities
  • Develop and/or improve relationships with key decision makers at customer sites
  • Defend existing business
  • Assure professional communication standards are implemented (i.e. weekly, monthly report and annual business reviews)
  • Identify and drive opportunities to enhance customer experience while optimizing Solenis service hours required (automate, digitize, eliminate, or re-assign tasks)
  • Provide feedback to commercial managers assessing current capabilities and development needs for account representatives
  • Identify and drive new sales initiatives aligned with the Corporate Accounts team to expand our market share by:
  • Identifying new customers and/or opportunities to grow business while reinforcing the Solenis brand
  • Expanding Solenis share of customer wallet
  • Leading new product introductions as part of a new customer acquisition strategy
  • Developing and fostering relationships with key customer decision makers both locally and corporately
  • Assuring that new business opportunities are managed from prospecting to commercialization such that they can be handed off smoothly to a local account manager

What You'll Bring

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or science related field
  • Experience: 10+ years in water treatment, preferably in the Pulp & Paper market segment.
  • Team Building: Demonstrated success in facilitating the development of high-performing individuals and teams.
  • Business Acumen: Strong financial and business expertise with a track record of achieving profitable long-term business relationships with customers
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Expertise in using data and analytics to guide strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, adept at managing risks and navigating ambiguity.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel up to 80% (domestic).

The expected compensation range for this position is between $121,500.00 and $202,500.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
