Head of EUV Service is the responsible site lead in Arizona (Tsmc and Intel) and owner for all kind of projects / operation in AZ as well as line manager for FSE and Trainer based out of Phoenix, AZ, close link to Head of EUV Service and Head of EUV Project Coordination, Head of EUV Service TX, EHS, TLSM and ASML AZ.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise, direct, evaluate, train and improve performance of Field Service Engineers and Trainers
  • Provide technical phone and tele diagnostics support to customers, distributors, and Field Service Engineers
  • Provide optimal scheduling of sustaining support, service calls, installations, and upgrades/retrofits, trainings utilizing both internal and external resources
  • Effectively accommodate customer needs for service, training, tools, and parts
  • Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, closing all open issues
  • Work and manage in compliance with all safety requirements
  • Resolve difficult customer issues with professional sensitivity
  • Accurately report and address technical conditions and information of machines
  • Work in coordination with Managers at TUSD and TLSM with minimal supervision
  • Improve service-mix
  • Clearly and professionally interact with customers while providing exceptional customer service
  • Direct TRUMPF support & interface to ASML Customer Service, link to TRUMPF-Headquarter
  • Attend all necessary meetings in person or by telecommunicating
  • Supervise and coordinate support shift schedules (24/7 shift schedules, 16/7 shift schedules etc.)
  • Hands on support at end customers, if required
  • Timecards, service reports, expense reports, PTO Requests/Approvals, Supervisor/Manager on call, review/approve schedules, coach employees, Performance Reviews, schedule/plan training. Complete and submit ESN's (shift changes, moves, etc.), attend management and service meetings, interview candidates both on the phone and in person
  • Responsible for developing and adjusting the team organization depending on customer demand, responsible for hiring and development of new Field Service Engineers and Trainers
  • Help to develop or modify existing technical and organizational documentation
  • Participate in management on-call duties during weekends and as needed
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.

Travel

  • Up to 25% travel; as needed to support business and service responsibilities
  • Valid passport required

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree in an Engineering field, or an equivalent combination of training and work experience
  • Minimum of two years previous experience in the Service department or equivalent Drive Laser service departments
  • Minimum of two years of experience in personnel management preferred
  • Previous project management experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
