We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Technical Writer with expertise in DITA and information architecture to join our dynamic team. What You Can Expect Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and reference materials, tailored for the semiconductor industry. Utilize DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture) to create modular and reusable content, ensuring consistency and efficiency in documentation. Utilize information architecture strategies to enhance the usability and accessibility of technical documents. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and quality assurance, to gather and understand technical information. Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing documentation and identify areas for improvement and optimization. Participate in documentation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in technical writing and information architecture. What We're Looking For Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications or a related field, engineering, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a technical writer in the semiconductor industry or a related high-tech field. Proven experience using DITA for content development and management. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and user-friendly manner. Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in tools such as Oxygen XML or similar tools, Adobe FrameMaker, Visio, git, and component content management systems (CCMS). Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of the DITA Open Toolkit, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies. Expected Base Pay Range (USD) 74,000 - 109,450, $ per annum The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
