We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Technical Writer with expertise in DITA and information architecture to join our dynamic team. What You Can Expect

  • Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and reference materials, tailored for the semiconductor industry.
  • Utilize DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture) to create modular and reusable content, ensuring consistency and efficiency in documentation.
  • Utilize information architecture strategies to enhance the usability and accessibility of technical documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and quality assurance, to gather and understand technical information.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing documentation and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Participate in documentation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in technical writing and information architecture.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications or a related field, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a technical writer in the semiconductor industry or a related high-tech field.
  • Proven experience using DITA for content development and management.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and user-friendly manner.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Oxygen XML or similar tools, Adobe FrameMaker, Visio, git, and component content management systems (CCMS).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the DITA Open Toolkit, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

74,000 - 109,450, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
