Tumor Genomics Senior Sales Trainer
Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tumor Genomics Senior Sales Trainer to support our Oncology/Urology Business Unit, which offers both germline and tumor testing solutions. This role is central to the development and delivery of training programs that empower our commercial teams to effectively position and sell our tumor genomics product lines. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with teams committed to support product launches, go-to-market strategies, and the creation of impactful sales tools. As a subject matter expert in tumor genomics, you'll drive competitive selling strategies and reinforce portfolio selling across our field teams. Key Responsibilities
- Training Development: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs focused on the clinical advantages of our product lines.
- Content Creation: Develop engaging, scientifically sound training materials within our LMS that highlight the clinical validity and differentiation of our products.
- Field Enablement: Equip Account Executives with the tools and knowledge to confidently communicate product benefits, handle objections, and position Myriad's offerings as best-in-class.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing and Sales Leadership to ensure training content is current, strategic, and aligned with business goals.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a trusted resource in tumor genomics, providing ongoing support and guidance to the field.
- Program Development: Assess training needs across experience levels and deliver programs in Salt Lake City or during regional and national meetings.
- Presentation & Facilitation: Apply adult learning principles to deliver training in various formats, manage time effectively, and adapt to diverse audiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years in Oncology/Urology sales training for a biotechnology, diagnostics company or a related industry. Field sales training or clinical experience in Oncology or Urology will be considered.
- 2+ years of content creation experience; LMS experience strongly preferred
- Must possess deep knowledge of tumor genomics and the oncology/urology diagnostics landscape
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and other stakeholders.
- Physical requirements include light lifting (up to 20 lbs), mobility, and use of standard office equipment.
- Travel required, up to 25%.
