Now, we're entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Final Assembly Technician to play a crucial role in the assembly of drone electro-mechanical systems and final products. As a PDW Final Assembly Technician you will have the opportunity to work with world-class drone experts, assemble cutting-edge aircraft, and grow with the company. The ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances is key to success.

What You'll Do


  • Assemble, test, and inspect sub-assemblies and finished products in accordance with established quality, operation standards and process instructions to meet the production schedule
  • Follow the manufacturing process instructions and test documentation to ensure all quality and technical design requirements are met
  • Monitor and report any quality issues and partner with troubleshooting to solution
  • Maintain current certifications in the use of special tools, equipment, or processes
  • Collaborate with design engineering on technical requirements of product and process along with implementation of engineering changes and new products through partnering closely with technical team, production control, supply chain, and manufacturing engineering.
  • Ensure continuous improvement awareness and willingness to collaborate to improve processes


Requirements


  • 1 - 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred is within electro-mechanical assembly
  • Experience assembling and troubleshooting UAS drones, vehicles, or aircrafts is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions on process and product
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and successfully navigate multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exposure to, or experience in, an ISO9001-2015 / AS9100 quality environment
  • Familiarity of lean principles and methodologies such as 5S, problem solving, Kanban, waste reduction, etc.
  • Experience using Microsoft Officeproducts (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-first attitude.
  • A keen eye for detail working with small parts, assemblies, fasteners, etc.
  • Demonstrated reliability, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to solving problems.


Physical Requirements


  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly, with occasional heavier lifting.
  • Employee must be able to stand, walk, and bend for long periods, as well as push, pull, and maneuver carts and packages.
  • Manual dexterity is necessary for handling.


Work Environment


  • Operates primarily in a professional, climate-controlled office, warehouse, manufacturing and shipping environment. At times, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety gloves, goggles, and hearing protection may be required.
  • Employee may also work where they may be exposed to the elements, including heat, rain, and cold.
  • Standard hours are Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM, with occasional overtime as operational needs may require.


ITAR Requirement

In compliance with International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR), candidates must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) or individuals granted asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
