Work Schedule:

Fully Remote or Hybrid if Local - Buffalo, NY

Moog's Global Infrastructure Operations Team is looking for a new Technical Leader to manage a team of IT Operations professionals who are responsible for multiple enterprise platforms across both On-Premises and Azure data centers. Our team is global and will allow you to work with professionals across the world!

You will work at hybrid, flexible work schedule at our East Aurora, NY facility.

To qualify for the Information Technology Operations Lead, here is what we would expect you to bring to Moog...

  • Typically, a Bachelor's Degree.

  • Over five (5) years of operational experience triaging compute, backup, storage, and Active Directory.

    • Certification(s) demonstrating some of the above experiences, strongly preferred.

    • Experience should also be inclusive of leading a technical team.

  • Experience with Windows and Linux L1/L2 operations.

  • Experience with Active Directory Forests and Group Policy creation/enforcement.

  • Experience with Azure, VMWare, Veeam, is a plus!

  • U.S. Citizenship required.

  • Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work on-site; relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity.

As the Information Technology Operations Lead, you will...

  • Develop team members associated with the appropriate career tracks.

  • Develop and continuously refine health scorecards for all platforms including but not limited to Azure, Veeam, VMWare, and Active Directory.

  • Manage vulnerabilities at infrastructure and Operating System layers (Windows and Linux).

  • Manage and create tight controls on backup and replication execution and reporting.

  • Ensure SLA attainment for incident triage and requests (ServiceNow).

  • Maintain Standard Operating procedures which will serve as the source of truth and training.

  • Continuously ensure infrastructure and platform event logs transferred to single repository allowing for actionable alerting within ServiceNow.

  • Ensure SLA attainment is continuously achieved on all Service Delivery, Incident, and Problem Management tasks.

  • Support L1/L2 operational support for incident management (ensure no single points of failure).

  • Partner with Engineering teams on readiness checks for new initiatives to be operationalized and handed over to Operations.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $110,000.00-$135,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
