*Description*
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Desk Technician in Roanoke, VA. In this role, you provide support for Level 1 and Level 2 issues, providing timely and effective technical assistance via phone, email, and ticketing systems. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving a wide range of hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. *Key Responsibilities* * Serve as an escalation point for Level 1 and 2 support issues, delivering high-quality technical support. * Monitor and manage incoming tickets through the ServiceNow platform, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to: * Windows 10/11 operating systems * Computer hardware and peripherals * Software applications * Active Directory account management * Imaging and deploying computers * Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues and implement long-term solutions. * Maintain accurate records of support requests, actions taken, and resolutions. * Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions. *Required Skills & Qualifications* * Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role. * Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems. * Hands-on experience with PC imaging, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. *Preferred Qualifications* * CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications. * Experience supporting enterprise environments. * Familiarity with remote support tools and ITIL best practices. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
